Immunization

All students are required to have certain immunizations (also known as vaccinations or shots) to attend school, as outlined by the Maryland Health Department. Schools must keep a record of every student’s immunization record.

If you have questions about your child’s immunizations or she or he needs updated immunizations, contact your child’s doctor or visit a Health Department clinic.

If your child’s school has a health center, the staff there can also help you with immunizations.

In addition to all other age/grade level required immunizations
Students entering 7th grade for SY 2021-2022 will need:

• 1 dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) and
  1 dose of Tdap vaccine

In addition to all other age/grade level required immunizations
Students entering Kindergarten for SY 2021-2022 will need:

• 2 doses of Varicella vaccine
